Tsunami recovery: Boats Needed

Boats needed says The Electric Lamb Mission:
Our mission is to fill that gap starting with what we have at hand. We can make a real difference but we must move fast.

Boats are the only way to bring supplies in to sections of the SW Aceh coast where there are no roads, and to the hundreds of islands to the West and South of what can only be described as ground zero. Meulaboh and Calang are our next targets in the new phase of our support. Following this, we will target Simeulue, Banyak, Nias islands and further south, focussing on stabilizing traumatized communities, disease control and getting basic infrastructure working. We will work with NGOs, UN and others but plan to always have our own capacity to fill in where people are in need.

I don't know who these people are, but they are on the right track - see my earlier post on flowing relief supplies from the sea.
