Iran tested the new liquid-fuel Shihab, termed Shihab-3A, twice in 2004. In the first test in August, the sources said, the missile did not fulfill expectations.Let's see, that's a little over 1000 miles. I wonder what message they are sending?
But the second test, which took place in September, marked the greatest success of the Shihab program. The sources said the Shihab-3A reached a range of 1,700 kilometers, by far the longest distance of the missile.
Hat tip: Regime Change Iran.
Update: Info on Shahab-3. Looks like a super Scud.
