Malaysian police said Thursday they have found a fishing boat suspected of being one of three used by the pirates who attacked a Japanese tugboat and abducted three crewmembers -- two Japanese and a Filipino -- on Monday.Perhaps I can say this a strange quote but potentially good news.
Police also hinted that they now have an idea where the hostages are being held.
''Perhaps I can say that we have got a lead, we have got some indication, additional information for us to know further where the victims are being detained,'' Marine Police Force Commander Abdul Rahman Ahmad told reporters after meeting with Japanese diplomats on the attack and abduction case.
But he declined to elaborate, saying, ''Other than that, I cannot give anything else because the investigation is still being conducted.''
