Bold Sea Robbers

According to UPI Intelligence Watch:
"While piracy remains a significant problem for merchantmen, most attacks are concentrated off Nigeria and the Straits of Malacca. While the northern Persian Gulf has a significant presence of coalition warships searching for terrorists, pirates have boarded and attacked the crew of the 5-year-old, 301,000-ton Very Large Crude Carrier tanker Nord Millennium outside Basra Terminal, Iraq's largest export terminal in the Persian Gulf. On Monday, three robbers armed with AK-47 rifles boarded the Cypriot-flagged ship in the anchorage outside the Basra Terminal and beat the ship's master after breaking into the ship's control room. After stealing about $42,000 the pirates escaped in a waiting speedboat."
