Its two sections read simply: "The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex" and "Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation."I note that Wyoming, in 1890, was the first state to grant women the vote and its nickname "The Equality State" followed.
