UFO's in a John Wayne Movie?

Yeah, well, anyone who knows me knows that I am a huge fan of the John Ford and John Wayne "Cavalry" movies (Fort Apache, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon and Rio Grande).

And, yes, maybe a little of my enjoyment of them is due to the fact my dad was a horse cavalry officer at the start of WWII, before he converted to the Air Corps. The man could flat out ride a horse.*

I own all three movies but was lulled into watching Rio Grande on cable this afternoon when I should have been doing a hundred other things. There are a couple of quotes from the movie I like, so I thought I'd see if they are on the web. And I got distracted, naturally, a site that claims to have solved the question of whether a UFO was accidentally filmed during the making of Rio Grande.
You might want to check out John Wayne 'Rio Grande' Movie UFO Solved. After all, the gutter cleaning can be done later, when it's cooler.

*I remember discussing with him my need to qualify with a pistol at the range. He suggested that his qualification was harder, since he had qualify by shooting targets while on horseback at a gallop.
