Sailor to soldier

CDR Salamander call your office: A former sailor converting to the Army says here:
“It was a culture shock for me,” he said. “I didn’t know what I was getting into.”

Glidden said the physical conditioning has been the hardest part for him, with the Kentucky heat and humidity compounding the problem. The Navy and Army physical standards are a lot different, he said.
Hmm. I guess those 0500 5-milers are little harder to do on a destroyer underway...
