M V Prima Indah departed Bangkal palam for Singapore on 30.09.2005 with a cargo of 660 mt tin ingots. On 30.09.2005 at 1300 UTC pirates armed with guns hijacked the ship in position 01:28.6S - 106: 41.1E, Indonesia. The 14 crew members were set adrift in a fishing boat and landed safely at an island. Ship and cargo are missing...
