Bangladesh Navy and Coast Guard go pirate hunting


As set out here:
More than 3,000 members of the Coast Guard and the Navy have launched joint operations to capture pirates in the Bay of Bengal in the wake of increasing criminal activities at sea.
Some 17 naval vessels along with over 3,000 coast guards and naval forces are participating in the joint operations.

In the last one month, pirates attacked over 500 fishing trawlers and looted fishing nets, fish and other goods worth about Tk 100 million (10 crore).
