Canadians looking for up to 200 stowaways on container ship

Reported here:
Canadian border officials are expected to provide details today of their search for possible stowaways on a massive cargo ship in Halifax harbour.

Border guards searched dozens of containers on the ship after its arrival Tuesday amid reports it could be carrying up to 200 stowaways. The Cypriot-registered Cala Puebla pulled into port at midday, several days after the ship's agent was told that between 150 to 200 people could be hidden in containers or elsewhere on the 179-metre-long vessel.

Seabridge International Shipping, the Canadian agent for the vessel, said it had little information about the situation, other than the fact the Canadian Border Services Agency was conducting the probe.
New reports indicate no one and nothing was found.
