During the last few days it became a great controversy that a Washington based communication company was beaming LTTE propaganda, while the State Department considers the group a foreign terrorist group.
The New York based www.tothecenter.com website published a lengthy article pointing out the fact. In a statement the Intelsat Corporation said, “ “Intelsat does not tolerate terrorists or others operating illegally on it satellites. Since we first learned of the LTTE’s signal piracy, we have been actively pursuing a number of technical alternatives to halt the transmissions. We are clear in our resolve to ending this terrorist organization’s unauthorized use of our satellite.”
"We must be ready to dare all for our country. For history does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. We must acquire proficiency in defense and display stamina in purpose." - President Eisenhower, First Inaugural Address
