The ever awesome Iranian navy is venturing forth to touch the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, thus striking dread and fear in the hearts and minds of . . . well, exactly who is impressed? Story here.
Must be intended for the naive and clueless, because a force like that described is mostly a threat to international navigation.
Exactly, Iran's "projection of force" in this exercise will be feeble at best. Other than training for its naval academy officers, what then is the purpose?
ReplyDeleteMitt Romney had it right all along when he said 5 times during his campaign, "Syria is Iran's route to the sea."
Iran chooses to perpetuate the comedic notion that Mitt's strategic assessment was false or at least impractical by sailing toward our Pacific coast.
How is Iran's navalba se on Syria's coast progressing? We have not heard from anyone, have we. Sounds to me like Iran's route may have had Obama team approval. Just saying...
Shaking. in my boots.
ReplyDeleteIf two ships constitutes a fleet, then we must have an armada at Mayport.
ReplyDeleteStill, it's nice of the Iranians to provide us with free training materials.
I would call them live fire training targets for the 57mm, 76mm and 5"54cals from all quadrants!
ReplyDeleteSounds like it is budget time in Tehran. Do you think their Navy is having money problems? Maybe they think being able to confront the "great Satan" might make point with the power that be in Qom.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they're just trying to find better liberty ports.
