Well, that depends. Nice test platform. Killed by "Big Navy" who perceived war would be fought in the deep blue waters. Focus now seems to be shifting to island chain ops and distributed weaponry in larger numbers of smaller ships.
They should have gone with both, hydrofoils on Carriers. I'll let the engineers crunch the numbers for how impossible it is. Once you debunk Carriers, I'll insist on hydrofoil submarines. :P
